Confagricoltura, in Sicily at Giarre. An event dedicated to the flower and plant business exportation

Faro’s nurseries from Giarre host today the third step of the national Italian Road show organized by Confagricoltura and ICE Agenzia to promote abroad and to internationalize Italian companies, dedicated to the flower and plant business exportation.

Faro’s nurseries from Giarre host today the third step of the national Italian Road show organized by Confagricoltura and ICE Agenzia to promote abroad and to internationalize Italian companies, dedicated to the flower and plant business exportation. Twenty-two representatives of companies coming from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Oman, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan United Arab Emirates and Georgia have participated to the visit and workshop day. Vice-president and director of Confagricoltura Catania Mario Faro and Francesco Toscano have host the delegation of foreign businessmen, guided by Grazia Bucarelli, International Manager for farm companies of Confagricoltura, and Francesca Lanza from the Agenzia ICE. During the day buyers have visited the Faro Group’s companies and have participated at a workshop dealing with Sicilian production of Mediterranean plants with features suiting with exportation in Central Asia countries and Arabic peninsula. The road show who stops today at Giarre, after having visited on the previous days Cagliari and Pistoia, is the second international project performed by Confagricoltura, the first was organized on 2013 in an initiative to the Countries on the other side of the Mediterranean Sea, dedicated to several sectors and activities in the whole farm industry. « We are very proud of having being chosen by the national Confederazione and the ICE to host, unique region of the South of Italy, this important event dedicated to  internationalization», stated Mario Faro, vice-president of Confagricoltura Catania and regional president of the flower and plant department of the Confederazione. « The today’s event is the first dedicated specifically to exportations in our sector, it is thus necessary to take advantage of this opportunity at its utmost and at the same time it is a substantial recognition for the Sicilian flower and plant business who will be able, thanks to this initiative, to consolidate and develop its presence in Countries with a strong economic growth, interested to our top quality production» ends Faro. The Road show organized by Confagricoltura and Ice will end tomorrow, 3rd July, in Milan at Palais della Vigna of Leonardo, in the garden where representative exhibitions of the region of Liguria, Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto and of national consortium Civi – Italy. President of Confagricoltura Mario Guidi will participate to the closing meeting of the road show.
